Our Story
Bouquet Florist has been established on the same corner of Cheddar, Somerset for over 40 years. In 2015 Carol and Claire Willcox a dynamic mother-daughter duo with over 30 years floristry experience between them took over the flower shop.
Bouquet Florist specialise in delivering fresh flowers, indoor and outdoor plants, and chocolates within a 10-mile radius of their Cheddar shop daily. And for those special occasions like Weddings and Events, they are more than happy to extend their services further.
Ordering from Bouquet Florist is simple, whether online, by phone or face to face in the shop in Cheddar. They deliver and are open Monday - Saturday with fresh flowers available every day.Â
Meet Claire
Claire runs Bouquet Florist alongside her mum Carol.
She grew up in Mark, studied Agriculture at Cannington College and has always had a love for farming and photography. In 2015, she took over Bouquet Florist with Carol, having previously worked there as a Saturday girl!
Outside the shop, Claire enjoys spending time with her three children, Jasper, Sidney and Skye, usually in their garden surrounded by flowers, wildlife and plenty of ducks!
Her favorite part of floristry is being creative every day and bringing customers’ floral dreams to life. She particularly loves working with couples to create beautiful flowers for their wedding day.
Meet Carol
Carol runs Bouquet Florist alongside her daughter Claire.
She grew up in Theale, Wedmore, and now lives in Mark with her husband Richard on their beef and sheep farm.
After many years in hairdressing, Carol retrained as a florist and joined Bouquet Florist, working in both the Cheddar and Burnham shops. In 2015, she returned with Claire to take over the business, and they haven’t looked back!
Outside the shop, Carol enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren, attending WI meetings and catching up with friends.
Her favourite part of floristry is getting to know their lovely customers. She particularly enjoys creating sympathy flowers and helping families remember their loved ones through beautiful floral tributes.
